The first 2 sentences are about ordering food. The last about where to pick it up.

There are lots of ways of saying this. You could also ask them 'can i help?'

1. Queue = a line or sequence of people or vehicles awaiting their turn to be attended to or to proceed. If people have already given their order then they are no longer in the queue. 2.Present perfect +already. We use this form when talking about something which has been completed recently: "I've already arrived back home."

If you are waiting to be served, it means you are waiting for someone to ask what you want. If you have ordered, you have been served and you are waiting for your food. A queue is British English for a line where you wait in turn. eg. Are you queuing? Please join the queue.

To place an order means the process of requesting the food you want and paying for your order.

If you at a fast food restaurant, and you can not tell whether someone is waiting to order or waiting to receive their food, you could ask any of the following: "Are you in line to order food, or are you waiting to receive your food?", "Which line are you in, ordering or collection?" or "What queue is this, ordering food or collecting your order?".

If you are in a fast food restaurant and you want to find out if someone is in line or not you can ask any of the following questions:- 1. Excuse me, are you in the line? Since cutting in on someone who is already in the line is considered rude, you may want to ask this question to confirm whether or not someone is in the line or not. 2. Excuse me, have you ordered already? This is a polite way to find out if someone has already ordered food or not.

When you want to ask someone whether they are waiting for an order or waiting to order; then you may ask in the following ways: -Are you waiting to get your order or about to order? -Are you in line to order or are you waiting to get your order?

If you are unsure if someone is in line to order or if they are just waiting to pick up their food, you can ask them by saying something like "Sorry, have you ordered already or are you just waiting to pick up your food?" or "Excuse me, are you in line to order?".
