「[授業](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/34906/)に[遅刻](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/42475/)する」は時制が曖昧ですが、英語では明確にしなければなりません。
授業に遅刻している状態（[教室](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/53131/)に向かう途中など）なら現在形 "I am late for class."や進行形で"I'm running late to class."
確定ではないけど遅刻を予測している場合は未来形 "I will be late for class."
遅刻してしまった場合は過去形 "I was late for class."
と使い分けてください。

Being unpunctual means not happening or doing something at the agreed or proper time.
