「わからない」はI don't knowの他にI'm not sureと言うこともできます。
「定かではない」とか「確信が持てない」という意味です。
出身はcome fromで表してもいいですね。

「出身地」を名詞で表現する代わりに、「~の出身である(be/come from~)」という文にしてみても良いと思います。
今回の場合は、対象が複数人(2人?)ですので、英訳例のように構成してみました。

「彼らの出身地がわかりません」はシンプルな表現なら、
I don't know where they're from.といいます。
I don't know = わかりません
where they're(they are) from = 彼らはどこから来たか
「出身地」というのは基本的にhome countryやhometownなどといいますが、この場合はwhere they're fromの方が自然な言い方です。
