は英語で「gotten used to」か「become accustomed to」か「adapted to」に相当します。 なのて、このように聞きます: 「Have you gotten used to____ yet?」 「Have you grown accustomed to ____yet?」 「Have you adapted to____ yet?」 Have you gotten used to life in Japan yet? Have you grown accustomed to Japan yet? Have you gotten used to the time difference yet? Have you adapted to the culture yet? Have you gotten used to using Japanese? <ボキャブラリー> get used to = 慣れる gotten used to = 慣れた grow accustomed to = 慣れる adapt to = 適応する、なじむ

私は 【be used to 名詞】 の形を使ってみます。 しかし、会話では ➡Are you used to life in Japan yet? 従って、 【Are you~?】

Find your feet' is a figurative saying. It means to become used to a new situation or experience. It does not literally mean that you found your feet. The answers above all refer to the same thing, however, are in different tenses. __________________________________________ Examples A: Are you finding your feet in Japan? B: Not yet. A: Have you found your feet in Japan? B: Yes, I have. A: Did you find your feet in Japan? B: I'm still getting used to it.
__________________________________________ 例 A: Are you finding your feet in Japan? B: Not yet. (まだです) A: Have you found your feet in Japan? B: Yes, I have. (はい、慣れました) A: Did you find your feet in Japan? B: I'm still getting used to it.

  • How do you find your time here?

Adjusting to a foreign country can be a very hard thing so it's good to ask these questions very gently and with interest. "How's life in Japan?" is a good way to see how they have been enjoying their time living there. "Are you adjusting to life here?" shows that you know it can be challenging to them to get used to their new surroundings. "How do you find your time here?" is polite and friendly to someone you don't know very well.
"How's life in Japan?"(日本での生活はどう?) "Are you adjusting to life here?"(ここでの生活には慣れてきましたか?) "How do you find your time here?"(ここでどのように過ごしていますか?)
