異常って英語でなんて言うの?

普通でないこと、通常でないことという意味です。 今年は雪が降ったりしてとても寒いので、 友達に「今年の冬は異常に寒いね」と言いたいと思っています。

寒さと雪はもちろん冬らしい天気なんですが、ある季節の間にその季節らしくない天気があったら、「unseasonable」や「unseasonably」と言えます。例えば、夏なのに異常に涼しい、または寒くなる場合は「It’s unseasonably cool.」とか「It’s unseasonably cold.」と言えます。その逆の場合なら、例えば冬なのに異常に暖かい、または熱くなると「It’s unseasonably warm.」とか「It’s unseasonably hot.」と言います。
