日本語の「イメージ」という言葉は、英語の「image」の使い方にあっている時もありますが、合ってない時もあります。日本語を勉強している人が「この写真はイメージです」を読むと、「この写真は画像です」という意味だと思ってしまうかもしれません。写真が画像？当たり前なことですね！
この「イメージ」の意味は、「illustration」とかの意味ですね。「This photo is to give you an idea of what ~ is like」と言えますが、結構長い文章ですね。上記の表現はもっと短いです。
文脈にとって、違う表現を使います。上記の３番目は、スーパーで買う食べ物のパケージに書いてある表現です。

If your product was food you could also say:

*Advertising purposes* means that its used to advertise the product only
*Not to scale* indicates the picture isn't showing the exact size of the product
*actual product may vary* This also says that the product might not look exactly like that picture.
