"Got it!" "Sounds good!"

Got it.
本来：(I've) got it. または (I) got it.

Sounds good.
(That) sounds good.

「Sounds great!」

Makes sense.
(That) makes sense.

Love it!
(I) love it!

Hope so.
(I) hope so.

Cannot wait! / Can't wait!
(I) can't wait!

Are you...?）

No way!
本来：(There is) no way!

Looking for something?
(Are you) looking for something?

Having fun?
(Are you) having fun?

Need a hand?
(Do you) need a hand?

「Do you need help?」

Not bad.
(It is) not bad.

Tastes good!
(It) tastes good!

Works for me.
(That) works for me.

Heading out.
(I'm) heading out.

On my way!
(I am) on my way!

Told you!
(I) told you!

Got it.
I understand. / Understood.

Read the Room｜

You'll need to learn to read the room to avoid embarrassing yourself with an inappropriate comment.

She has a very positive vibe about her and is always pleasant to talk to.

I caught a really bad vibe from John just now. What's wrong with him?

Last night's concert was such a vibe. Everyone had a great time.

Read the writing on the wall｜

「the writing on the wall」は、はっきりとは言われていないが、誰の目にも明らかであるはずの情報を指します。

The writing's on the wall; AI is going to revolutionize our industry and we need to be prepared for it.

Written all over (someone's) face｜

You like her, don't you? It's written all over your face.

It's written all over your face; you don't have to say anything.

Beat around the bush｜

We don't have time to beat around the bush. Let's discuss the problem so we can find a solution.

Read between the lines｜

The ability to read between the lines is what separates good negotiators from great ones.

Broach a topic｜

Jesse wasn't sure of how to broach the topic of Sam's illness.

Put out feelers｜

Before we start investing any money in the project, we want to put out some feelers to see if it’s something people might be interested in.

Unwritten rules｜

Jake broke one of the unwritten rules of the culture when he stuck his chopsticks upright in his bowl of rice.

Understood｜

It was understood that Kevin would be the leader of the project.

In the dark｜

Into the dark｜

No, thank you.

Would you like something to eat?

No, thank you.

I'm afraid not. / Unfortunately, no.

Under no circumstances

Flying coach is out of the question. I only fly business class or higher!

Most certainly not. / Absolutely not.

Do you think his plan will work?

No way, José.

Let's go inside that old haunted house!

Not in a million years.

When pigs fly.

It's your turn to sing a karaoke song, James.

Can you lend me $10?

Not on your life.

In your life ではなく on your life なので、そこは気をつけましょう！

Have you ever thought about moving to another city?

I love my hometown and I never want to leave.

イギリス英語では、「Not on your nelly!」

Yeah, right.

Did Yuki go to the concert?

Yeah, right. You know he hates big crowds.

Please.

Have you been to that fancy new restaurant downtown?

So I can pay too much for my food and be surrounded by stuck up people? Please.

Diet の意味
