手を洗った時に、手をパッパッと少し水を切るような動作を英語でどう言いますか？

（子供が手を洗って手を拭く前に水がポタポタ落ちるので、手をパッパッとして欲しい時に英語で表現したいです）

また、子供が公園などでこけた時に両手に砂がついてパッパッと叩く時の表現も併せて知りたいです。

水を払う時の「手をぱっぱとする」は英語で次のように言えます。
ーto flick water off one's hands
ーto shake the water off one's hands

例：
Flick the water off your hands before you dry them on the towel.
「タオルで手を拭く前に手をぱっぱとして」
to dry one's hands on the towel で「タオルで手を拭く・乾かす」

You should brush the sand/gravel off your hands.
「手の砂/じゃりを払って」
to brush the sand off one's hands で「手の砂を払う」と言えます。
