いらっしゃいますので、別表現を紹介致します。
○○ is a two-hour train ride from Tokyo.
という表現も、ネイティブがよく用いる自然な
表現です。
今回のポイントは二つあります。
① two hours と言いたいところ、two hour と
sを付けずに表現するところです。
似た例で言いますと、
I have a three-year old son.
3歳の息子がいます
I have twenty-year experience as an engineer.
エンジニアとして20年の経験があります
などです。このように、人やモノを
数字を伴った表現で説明する、つまり
形容詞のように使う場合は、s を付けないのが
ルールです。
例えばオンライン英会話では、
I'm afraid, but can we have a three-minute breaK?
3分間休憩を取ってもいいですか？
と先生に言うこともできますね（three-minute の部分にsを付けません）。
②もう一つのポイントは、train ride です。
これが飛行機でしたら、
ex. Ishikawa is a one-hour flight from Tokyo.
石川県は、東京から[飛行機](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/36261/)で一時間です。
[徒歩](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/70075/)でしたら、

"・It takes〜 to travel from A to B by 〇〇.
「〜」には距離や所要時間を、「A」「B」には場所を、「〇〇」には交通手段を入れます。

By... we use this when telling someone about how we arrived or went somewhere. By train, by car, by boat, by plane. Howver when walking we say "On foot."
The trip takes....... = We use this when describing the duration of a journey: 1 hour, 2 days, 2 weeks...

In the first response, you are saying that from Tokyo, the 2 hour travel time is the usual time taken if there are no delays. So you use the adverb 'normally''.
In the second response, you are specifying that should there be no adverse weather such as snow, which can cause train delays, the journey should take 2 hours from Tokyo.
Please note that I have mentioned Kyoto as a destination just to exemplify.
"It takes two hours by train" means you need to have 2 hours to go somewhere by train. The second option is to say the location first and continue the first sentence.
