  • I live in a region where it rarley snows maybe 2 or 3 times a year. If it does it barley sticks.

  • I live in a region where it hardly every snows, maybe 2 or 3 times a year. It hardly ever stays.

By using the words “rarely” and “hardly” to describe the snow fall, you are saying that it doesn’t snow very much in the region where you live. Also, the word “sticks” and “stays” are describing the snow if it ever comes. Which in these sentences means that it never piles up or settles.
これらの“rarely(まれに)”と “hardly(ほとんどない)” を使って雪が降ることを言い表すと、雪がめったに降らないという意味になります。 ですので、あなたの住む地域では雪が降ることはあまりない、と言う事になります。 また “sticks(つく)”と“stays(残る)”とは、もし雪が降った場合を言い表します。 これらの表現は雪が決して積もらないという意味になります。

  • My region doesn't get too much snow.

  • It doesn't snow very much where I live.

"My region doesn't get too much snow." (a place) doesn't get too much (element of weather). My city doesn't get too much rain every month. My town doesn't get too much sunshine each year. "it doesn't get too much" basically means that the something has a lack of/only a little bit of something.
"My region doesn't get too much snow." (私の住む地域では雪はあまり降りません) (a place) doesn't get too much (element of weather). ⦅(場所)では(天気の状態)はあまりありません⦆ 例 "My city doesn't get too much rain every month." (私の町では毎月あまり雨は降りません) "My town doesn't get too much sunshine each year." (私の町では毎年日当たりがよくありません) "it doesn't get too much"とは基本的には”少ししかない、めったにない”と言う意味になります。

  • I live in a region where it seldom snows and even if it does, it doesn't last for long.

Native speakers will say like this: “I live in a region where it seldom snows and even if it does, it doesn't last for long.”. There are lots of other ways to say it, but this one is the most accurate and most commonly used. Here is an example on how to use this in a conversation: A: Are you excited about winter this year? B: Not really. I live in a region where it seldom snows and even if it does, it doesn't last for long.
ネイティブスピーカーは次のように言います。 “I live in a region where it seldom snows and even if it does, it doesn't last for long.” (私の住んでいる地域はほとんど雪が降りませんし、降ったとしてもすぐになくなってしまいます) 他にもいろいろな言い方ができますが、これが最も正確で一般的です。 会話では以下のように使えます。 A: Are you excited about winter this year? B: Not really. I live in a region where it seldom snows and even if it does, it doesn't last for long. ↓ A: 今年の冬は楽しみですか。 B: そうでもないですよ。私の住んでいる地域はほとんど雪が降りませんし、降ったとしてもすぐになくなってしまいます。

  • This region rarely sees snow and if it does, it soon disappears

  • It snows infrequently here - possibly a couple of times a year

If/when + present tense, present tense + present tense. This structure is known as 'the zero conditional' and is applied when we want to talk about a fact, a scientific truth or something which usually happens or is the norm. "If you release an apple, it falls to earth because of gravity." "When I see you walking towards me in that skirt, my heart goes: bump, bump, bump!" "When you drive fast, I get a terrible feeling that we are going to have an accident."
If/when +現在形, 現在形 + 現在形の文は、「必ず起きることの仮定」と呼ばれ、たいてい起こることや、事実、科学的事実について述べるときに使われます。  "If you release an apple, it falls to earth because of gravity." もしりんごを放したら、重力で地上に落ちる。 "When I see you walking towards me in that skirt, my heart goes: bump, bump, bump!" あなたがスカートをはいて私のほうに歩いてくるのをみると、心臓がドキドキする。 "When you drive fast, I get a terrible feeling that we are going to have an accident." あなたがスピードを出して運転するとき、事故にあうんじゃないかとものすごくこわくなる。

  • Where I stay it only snows twice or thrice a year and snow isn't enough t pile up.

*Where I stay it only snows twice or thrice a year and snow isn't enough t pile up. twice- another way to say two times thrice-another way of saying three times. This means that where you stay it doesn't snow a lot and when it does it is not a lot.
*Where I stay it only snows twice or thrice a year and snow isn't enough t pile up. (私にいるところは年に2~3回程度しか雪は降らないので積もりません) twice- "two times"のもう一つの言い方で2回と言う意味です。 thrice- "three times"のもう一つの言い方で3回と言う意味です。 これはあなたの住んでいるところでは雪がほとんど降らないという事で降っても少ししか降らないという意味になります。

  • it rarely snows...

  • It rarely snows where I live and when it does , it doesn't last!

When something is " a rare occurrence"...it simply means that it does not "happen very often"...Or " it happens infrequently" In regards to snow or inclement weather; we might say : " it rarely snows /rains "where I live"...and when it happens "it doesn't last long." (soon clears away)
何かがまれに起こるというのは、単に"does not happen very often"(そんなに起こらない)または、" it happens infrequently"(たまに起こる)というフレーズを使うことができます。雪や荒れた天気に関することは、以下のように表現することができます。 " It rarely snows /rains where I live and when it happens it doesn't last long. 私が住んでいるところは、めったに雪/雨が降らないし、降ったとしてもそんなに降り続けない。

  • Where i live it hardly snows and when it does it's very light and doesnt lay

  • It doesn't snow much where i live and if it does it soon disappears

  • It only maybe snows 2/3 times a year and doesn't tend to stay long

All these sentences are good examples. Hardly means to not happen very often so you can stay 'hardly' or doesn't snow much' When it snows and settles it is called 'laying' or to'lay'
”Hardly"は「ほとんどない」という意味の副詞です。”Hardly snows"(殆ど雪は降らない)または”Doesn't snow much"(あまり雪が降らない)は、どちらとも同じ意味です。 雪が積もった状態のことを”Laying"または”To lay"と言います。
