部下はフォーマルな表現なら「subordinates」、自分のチーム等があるなら「Team members (チームメンバー)」という表現もできますね。
朝、事務所へいくとまずパソコンを立ち上げ、メールチェックをします。
When I arrive at the office in the morning, I will start my computer and check emails.
その後、部下たちに必要な指示をします。
Then I give instructions to my subordinates/team members.
”provide directions"が指示をする。
”my subordinates"で部下、"my employees” で従業員という意味で使えます。

I give instructions to my team for the day.
チームにその日の指示を与えます。
