Milk chocolate is the most common type of chocolate that is generally made with coco beans, milk and sugar. This is the brown coloured chocolate.
Dark chocolate is almost Black in colour and is usually very high in coco and lower in sugar.
I prefer white chocolate to dark chocolate, white chocolate tastes sweeter.

Milk chocolate and dark chocolate have more cocoa and less sugar (generally). Dark chocolate has a higher level of anti-oxidants and is commonly seen as the healthy option when choosing chocolate.
