To invent something is to create it.

Pioneer is to develop something.
To develop is to create or invent something.

They have given great influence to the world and inspiration to keep exploring, inventing and discovering. "A mover and shaker" is an American term that we call a modern person famous for how they changed something, specifically a way of thinking. The movers and the shakers of today belong to the technology industry.

Great' is a word used to describe something or someone that is very good.
An 'inventor' is a person that dreams up new ideas and practical solutions to problems. They think through problems and create answers to these. That is why we also call the 'Great thinkers'.
A master, in this context, is a person that has 'mastered' their field of expertise. In other words, they are the leader and expert in what they do and others look up to them to lead the way.
