「もっと〜だったらよかったのに」って英語でなんて言うの？

映画の感想を書くことになりました。
「○○の活躍がもっと多かったら良かったのに」は英語で何と言いますか？
例えば、「(サスペンス映画で)犯人がすぐに死なずにもう少し逃走劇があったらもっとスリルがあって良かったのに...」などです。

「ボンドの活躍がもっとあったら良かったのに。」
If we had seen more action with 〇〇, it would have been better. で「○○の活躍がもっと多かったら良かったのに」と言えます。

ーIf the bad guy hadn't died so quickly and there had been more suspense, it would have been more exciting.
「悪者がすぐ死なずに、もっとハラハラがあれば、もっと面白かったのに。」
it would have been more exciting　で「もっと面白かったのに・もっとワクワク・ハラハラしたのに」
