What's new? 例→ I changed companies last month. My wife's expecting another baby. I broke up with my boyfriend.

「① How have you been?」 「② How have you been keeping?」 「③ What's been up?」 と聞く義務があれば「③ What's been up?」

*What's up = 最近どうよ? *How is everything? Is your mother feeling any better?” *How are you holding up? 例えば相手の父親が亡くなってしまったのを聞いているのであれば: 「I'm sorry to hear your father passed away, my condolences. How you are holding up?」

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What's the hap? 「What's happening?」 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Howzit? 「How's it?」 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wazzup? または 'Sup? 「What's up?」 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How's it hanging? 意味的には「What's up?」

What's up? How are you? What's up? こっちから先にWhat's up? 逆に相手にWhat's up? Long time no see. What's up? そういう場合は、how have you been doing? What's up?

"what've you been up to?" or " what've you been up to recently?" are some of the most common expressions you will hear in these type of situations. But I've had many people say "how's life?' to me, specially when someone didn't see me for a long time. You'll often see conversations go like this: Mike: Ayyy Prince! What's up man long time no see!!! Prince: Daaaaaang Mike! It's been years, how's life? Mike: It's been good, just broke up with Nikki and I've been feeling a lot better! Prince: Really?! Wow, I'm proud of you my man. Didn't see that coming. Mike: I know! thanks, so what've you been up to recently? Prince: Oh you know, same old. Working out at the gym like always.
"what've you been up to?"(あなたは何をしていたの?) または" what've you been up to recently?"(あなたは最近何をしていますか?") Ayyy Prince! What's up man long time no see!!! Daaaaaang Mike! It's been years, how's life? It's been good, just broke up with Nikki and I've been feeling a lot better! Really?! Wow, I'm proud of you my man. Didn't see that coming. I know! thanks, so what've you been up to recently? Oh you know, same old. Working out at the gym like always

Hi Jimmy! How’s life? Great.How about you?「いい感じだよ。

how are you doing?'

How've you been is the grammatical contraction (edit) of 'how have'. It is the most common and relaxed way of saying how have you been? Long time no see, is a popular American phrase that literally means I have not seen you in a long time and how are you?
How've you beenは、how haveを文法上短縮した形です。これは、よく使われ、how have you been? Long time no seeは、アメリカ人の間で普及していて、意味としては、本当に久しぶりですね、お元気ですか?です。

  • What's up dude(man)?

  • What's new(good)?

If we run into someone we haven't seen in awhile, the most polite way is to say "Hey how have you been?". It is simple and effective way to ask someone politely how they have been recently. Now if it is an old friend whom you know very well but haven't seen recently, I would say "What's up dude" or "Whats up man", using dude or man are very informal and should only be used with good friends. You can also ask them "What's new?" or "What's good?", these are asking what they have been up to recently.
また、"What's new?" や "What's good?"

  • Wow! It's been ages! How are you?

Use the sentences above when seeing someone you have not seen in a long time. "Hey stranger" is a light way of saying that you haven't seen this person is so long that they have almost become a stranger to you. It's been ages: it has been a long time. How has life been treating you asks if you have been well, if life has been good to you.
It's been ages: 長い間 How has life been treating youとは、元気にやっていたか、生活は順調だったかを聞くフレーズです。
