「最後の手段」は
the last resort あるいは
one's last resort
と言います。
この場合のresort は 「手段・方策」と言った意味です。
「パソコンがフリーズしていまい、最後の手段として主電源をきるしかない」は
My PC has frozen. I guess disconnecting it would be the last resort.
もう一つの例
サラ金が最後の手段だ。
The loan shark is my last resort.
（loan shark ＝サラ金）
ちょっと大げさに聞こえるような気もしますが、「最後の手段」と言うには a last resort という表現があります。
My computer froze up. As a last resort, I will have to force shutdown my computer.
（パソコンがフリーズした。最終手段として強制終了しなければならないだろう。）
他に、「〜以外に選択肢がない」という言い方もあります。
I have no other choice than to force shutdown my computer.
I don't have any other choice than to force shutdown my computer.
（パソコンを強制終了する以外に選択肢がない。）
ちょっと長いので以下のように言い換えてもいいでしょう。
I will have to force shutdown my computer. I don't have any choice.
（パソコンを強制終了しなければいけないだろう。それ以外に選択肢がない。）

have no alternative but to ＝「～するほか仕方ない、仕方なく～する」

「電源を切るほか方法がない」＝意味として「最後の手段として電源を切るしかない」
