Growing up, my mother was a nursery school teacher and I spent a lot of time with her in the classroom. When I was old enough, I worked with her as a teacher's assistant. I pursued my creative interests by studying Fine Arts in college. The training I received there has become the foundation for my many creative hobbies, including: crocheting, painting, drawing and crafts. I spent a year in New Zealand working on farms and vineyards. I also spent a year in Madrid, where I completed my TESOL certificates, and taught English to all levels and ages. It made me love teaching even more! Through my travels, I also discovered my love for languages. In addition to my native language of English, I am fluent in French. After spending two wonderful years teaching English online to children in China, I decided it was time for a change. I'm very close to my five-year-old niece and when I told her about online tutoring, she thought it was so cool that I'd get to teach people on the other side of the world. I think it's really cool, too! I also feel really lucky to have an opportunity like this. I'm really looking forward to meeting you all. See you in the classroom!
