当て馬って英語でなんて言うの？

「当て馬」のような簡潔な表現は英語にないと思います。 でも近い表現としては「to be used」です。 「Use」は「使う」、「使用する」という意味で、「to be used」は「使われる」、「使用される」です。 I was asked to give them an estimate, but are we sure we're not just being used to drive a competitors cost down? みつもりしょを出してくださいと言われましたが、弊社は他の会社の値段を安くするために使われてるだけではないですかね？ They asked me to give them an estimate, but I'm worried we're just being used against another company. 見積書を出してくださいと言われましたが、弊社は他の会社に対して当て馬として使われているだけかが心配です。
