口数って英語でなんて言うの？

「私達（兄妹）は、子どもの頃よく喧嘩していた。今でも口数は少ないけれど、昔よりは仲良くなったのかも。」


と言いたいです。

「口数」だけを直訳すると number of spoken words となりますが、このような言い方は使わないですね。

「口数が少ない」と言うなら次のような言い方をします。
ーHe doesn't say very much.
ーHe's a quiet person.

例：
My brother and I used to fight a lot when we were kids.  We still don't have much to say to each other, but we get along better now than we did back then.
「兄と私は子供の頃よく喧嘩をした。今でも口数は少ないが、昔よりは仲良くやっている」
don't have much to say を使って「口数が少ない」を表現することもできます。
