「生き埋め」は英語で次のような言い方をします。
ーto be buried alive
「生きて埋められる」
ーto be buried under all the rubble
「瓦礫の下に埋められる」
例：
A lot of people are still buried under the rubble and we can't find them.
「まだ多くの人が生き埋めになっていて、見つかっていない」

「まだ多くの人たちが生き埋めの状態で見つかっていません」と伝えたい時は、 Many people are still trapped under the rubble. （多くの人々がいまだに瓦礫の下に閉じ込められています。） という表現がニュースで最も頻繁に使われます。
trapped は「閉じ込められた」、rubble は建物が崩れた後の「瓦礫」を指します。
