カビがへばりつく場合は、to be stuck on を使って言えます。
例：
There's black mold stuck to the outside of our bathtub.
「バスタブの外周に黒カビがへばりついている」
There's a bunch of black mold stuck to the siding at the back of our house because it doesn't get much sunshine.
「あまり日が当たらないので、家の後の壁に黒カビがたくさんへばりついている」
