冬至って英語でなんて言うの？

単にthe shortest day（日が最も短い日）と言うこともあります。 「冬至には、多くの日本人がお風呂にゆずをいれてつかります」の英訳は以下の通りです。 On winter solstice, many Japanese people bathe with yuzu fruit. winter solstice = 冬至 the shortest day = 日が最も短い日 Today is the shortest day of the year. 今日は一年で最も日が短い日です。

冬の中間点という意味で、midwinter, solsticeは、夏至、冬至の「至、至点」の意味です。

冬至については竹村さんのおっしゃる通りです。 「ゆず湯」については 「お風呂にゆずを入れる（put citrons into the bath）」 もしくは「浮かべる（float citrons in the bath）」と 言えばよいでしょう。 ゆずが citrons のように複数形になっているのは、 丸ごと複数個入れる、という想定ですよ。
