Mainstream art （ オンリーアート） is what most artists in the art world（ 大体のアーティストが） participate in（ 参加したり することです）
An offshoot（ 本流と別れたグループ） is when I group chooses a different path than the mainstream.（ あるグループが 本流アート と違う道を 選んで進むこと）
When a group breaks off（ グループが完全に分かれ道を選ぶ時は） they completely leave the traditions and Orthodoxy of the mainstream. （ 本流アートグループの正教と伝統を捨てて進むことです）
