体位って英語でなんて言うの？

「体位」という言葉を英語で伝えると、「posture」という言葉も「position」という言葉も使っても良いと考えました。複数形は「postures」と「positions」です。例えば、「The posture of the patient is very important.」と「The position of the patient is very important.」という文章を使っても良いです。「Important」は「大切」という意味があって、「patient」は「患者」という意味があります。

「体位」は英語でphysiqueかpostureかpositionと言えます。physiqueはもっと「体格」と似ていますが、「体位」の時にも使えます。postureは立ているか座っている時に体の位置のことです。positionはただ「位置」という意味があります。 例： She has a fit physique. 彼女は元気な体位があります。 It is important to make sure the patient is in a comfortable position. 患者が快適な体位にいることを確認することが重要です。
