forked は「またに分かれた・分岐した」という意味です。

「３方向に分かれた道」＝「三叉路」
のように表現できます。

「家の前の道は三叉路になっている。」
「5叉路」なら同じように
a five-forked road
a road that splits off into five directions
のように言えますし、
「T字路」なら
a road that comes to a T
「T字になる道」＝「T字路」
