うねりって英語でなんて言うの？

「うねり」は英語で「wave motion」（ウエーブのような動き）と言います。その動きを一つの言葉にすると「undulation」と言います。

海で波のうねりはなんか落ち着きます。
The wave motion of the waves at the sea are calming.

波のうねりは船を動きました。
The undulation of the waves pushed the boat away.

海の波のうねりを言うなら、swell や raging を使って表現できるかなと思います。

例：
The swells were high at the ocean the other day.
「先日の海はうねりが高かった。」

I saw several huge raging waves before the last typhoon we had.
「この前の台風の前、巨大な波のうねりを見た。」
