バドミントンの「クリアー」は英語でも clear と言います。
例：
There are two types of clears in badminton, one is an attacking clear, and the other is called a defensive clear.
「バドミントンには２種類のクリアーがあって、一つは攻めのクリアーでもう一つは守備のクリアーです。」
日本語ではどのように言うのかはわかりませんが、攻撃・攻めのクリアーの事を attacking clear、守備のクリアーのことを defensive clear と言います。
You can use a defensive clear when you need time to get back in position.
「ポジションに戻るのに時間稼ぎが必要な時に、守備のクリアーを使います。」
