carry someone on your shoulders; give someone a ride on your shoulders
a shoulder ride
The father is giving his daughter a ride on his shoulders.
The father is carrying his daughter on his shoulders.
The father is giving his daughter a shoulder ride.
Can you carry me on your shoulders?
Can you give me a ride on your shoulders?
Can you give me a shoulder ride?
最も伝わりやすいのが「ride on someone's shoulders」や「 carry someone on your shoulders」と、肩=shouldersと直接表現する事でしょう。
Children love to be carried on the shoulders of adults because it gives them a better view of their surroundings. if you want to offer a child a shoulder ride you can use any of these statements.
1. I'll carry you on my shoulders.
2. I'll give you a shoulder ride.
1. I'll carry you on my shoulders.
2. I'll give you a shoulder ride.
It was a long walk home - about 4 kms, and Mr Taylor and his son Jimmy were travelling slowly along the side of the road. After about thirty minutes, Jimmy started complaining that his legs were hurting. Mr Taylor looked at his son and asked:
"Are you sure you can't walk any further?"
"No, dad!"
Mr Taylor picked Jimmy up and placed him on his shoulders."

"Are you sure you can't walk any further?"(もう歩けないって本当?)
"Mr Taylor picked Jimmy up and placed him on his shoulders."

Parents often carry their child/children on their shoulders as it is fun for the child to be higher up. Children are often curious so it is a fun ride or a game to be able to see as spot things above them.
However, this isn't always limited to children. A friend or a girlfriend might as another friend or their boyfriend to put her on his shoulders if she cannot see something, for example at a concert. If a short girl cannot see the performer, she might then ask to sit on her friend or boyfriend's shoulders.
