半期って英語でなんて言うの？

「半期」は「half of the year」です。その形容詞は「half-yearly」です。

上半期 =　first half of the year
下半期 =　second half of the year

例文：
In my company, the business year is divided into two half-yearly periods, the first half and the second half of the year.
私の会社では上半期、下半期と半期に分けて業務を行なっています。

The company's net profit in second half of the year is half of that in the first half of the year.
会社の下半期の純利益は上半期の半分になってしまいました。
