本に○○って書いてあったって英語でなんて言うの？

無生物主語を使って、The book says～（その本は～と言っていた）、とする言い方、 It is written in （本の名前）that ～（～だと（本の名前）に書かれてある）とする言い方 などがあります。　 write は「書く」、written in ... で「〜に書かれている」となります。

上田さんが紹介した表現はよく使います。もう一つ同じ意味をもつ言い方は"it says ~ in the book"です。 「本の中では〜と書いてある」という意味です。
