"surplus"の方は名詞で、残りの"superfluous"と"redundant"は形容詞になります。"surplus" "superfluous"はポジティブな意味で使われる一方、"redundant"はどちらかと言うと「(不必要な)余剰」とネガティブな意味で使われるという違いがあります。
