しかし、それだけいうと情報が足りませんので、「今日は帰りが遅くなります」という部分の英訳も追加しましょう。
「she'll be getting back later than usual.」又はChiakiさん書いた通り「he will be coming home late today」でも大丈夫です。
最終的に「She went to take her exam today so she'll be getting back later than usual.」になります。

Chiaki様の英文は完璧ですよ！
examの前はherかtheかどっちでもいいですが、両方を一緒に使えません。例えば、She's taking her the examは勿論アウトです。
そして、She has goneの代わりにShe went to takeとかShe's takingなども使えます。
She will be coming home late todayは当てますが、She'll be home lateの方がすっきりとして表現です。
