To answer the question "what is your favourite......?" you can reply in many different ways. eg the most simle way to respond is "My favourite is.....". Or you can say "The one I like best is......". Finally when there is a choice implied in the question you can reply, "the one I would always choose is......"
If you are asked to tell someone what is you your favorite "something", you can answer in any of the following :-
1.I like.... the best.
2. My favrotie .... is
3.My number one choice is .....

It is bit of a difficult question I think because it is hard to think about being nature when it just comes to you, but I would say, the third one is perhaps the most natural.
