結合って英語でなんて言うの？

結合 は英語で　combination / connection / unionと言います。
以下に、例文を挙げておきます。参考にしてみてください。

1) The combination of these two chemicals can be very dangerous.
この二つの化合物が結合するととても危険です。

2) He united the nation.
彼は国家を一つにまとめた

3) We are connected even though we are apart.
離れていても繋がっている

bondingもconnectionも、物理的な結合と心理的な結合のどちらにも使うことができます。

We learned about hydrogen bonding of the water.（水の水素結合について学びました）
Bonding with your baby is important.（赤ちゃんとの（気持ちの）つながりは大切です）

I have to fix the connection of these wires.（ワイヤーの結合を直さなきゃ）

物理学と化学の分野で「結合」というと一般的に 'bonding' と言います。
例えば「化学結合」は 'chemical bonding' と言います。
たまに 'combining' か 'to combine' とも言います。
例えば
「水素と酸素が結合して水になります。」
'Hydrogen and oxygen combine to form water.'

心理とか政治では「結合」がL 'unite' と言います。
例えば
「 諸派が結合して党を作った」
'Several faction united to form a party.'

○○を結合する時に combine や join together と言います。

化学での分子などの結合は bond と言います。
