自然の中だと特に感じることがありますね。
後者の sprite は spirit と似てますがどちらかと言うと
妖精に近いものです。
「神秘的な場所に行くと精霊の存在を感じることが出来る」
"I can feel the presence of spirits when I go to *mystical places" など
*神秘的。spirit を 形容詞にした spiritual とも言います。
精霊 は英語で spirit といいます。Soul は普通に 魂 という言葉と同じ意味がありますが、時々、spirit と置き換えされます。以下はよく使われている表現です。
a lost soul / a wandering spirit (あの世に渡っていない・人間界で迷っている)
a wailing spirit (鳴き声をしている)
