検品って英語でなんて言うの？

"inspection"の備考：欠陥や品数や衛生のような重大な品質のことを確認する検品は"inspection"と言います。検品の目的によって、"inspection"の直前に相応しい言葉を追加できます。
例えば：
"health inspection"＝「衛生検品」
"safety inspection"＝「安全検品」
"quality inspection"＝「欠陥検品」

例文："Is the inspection complete?"＝「検品は終わりましたか？」
例文："Are they done with the inspection?"＝「検品は終わりましたか？」

"review"と"check"の備考："inspection"は固くて、深刻な意味合いがあるので、たまに"review"か"check"と言った方が相応しいと思います。"review"と"check"は小さなミスやスタイルの弱点などを見つけるための検品です。

例文："Is the check complete?"＝「検品は終わりましたか？」
例文："Are they done with the review?"＝「検品は終わりましたか？」

これは一つの言い方が product testing です。 product は「商品」とうい意味なので「商品を検査する」という意味になります。

もう一つの言い方は quality testing です。quality は「質」という意味なので、「品質などを検査する」ニュアンスです。

testing の代わり inspection を使って quality inspection をいうこともあります。
