模式図って英語でなんて言うの？

schematicは「図式的な」depictionは「（図式、絵画、言葉などによる）描写」という意味です。 ちなみに派生語も紹介すると、schematize（～を図式化する）schema(概略図、図式）depict(～を描写する）depictive(描出的な）などがあります。

「模式図」は英語でschematic diagramと言います。 例： I’d like a schematic diagram that briefly describes the mechanisms of the machine. 機械の仕組みを簡単に書いた模式図がほしいです。 A schematic diagram is a picture that represents something using symbols. 模式図はシンボルを利用して何かを表す画像です。 He made a schematic diagram of the machine he built. 彼は彼が作った機械の模式図を作りました。
