合掌って英語でなんて言うの？

私はヨガのインストラクターをしています。合掌する時には次の様に説明しています。
Put your palms together and say "Namasute".
Plamは掌という意味です。

put ～ togetherは、「～を合わせる」の意味なので、
put your hands togetherで「手を合わせる」、つまり、「合掌する」の意味です(^_^)

put togetherの別の例です(^_^)
例）
Let's put the two tables together.
「テーブルを２つ合わせましょう」
