[子供](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/44764/)達の水遊びはwaterplayといいますが、大人が言うといやらしいことをイメージされる場合がありますのでおすすめしません。

この場合の水辺は「プール」や「海」や「湖」などですが、特定したい場合はby swimming pools, by the beachと言ってもいいと思います。

splash water
splashは、~を飛び散らす、という意味で、splash waterといえば、水場で[水](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/34913/)を手でばちゃばちゃやる動作のことを言います。これは意訳、というか水遊びという行為のイメージを表現しています。
