引きずると言う動詞はdragです。
荷物はluggageとしましたが、この言葉だと旅行用のカバンとか手荷物みたいなものがイメージされると思います。
普通のカバンならbagですし、背中に背負うようなものならbackpackですね。特にカバンなどでないのならstuff（物という意味です）で言い換えてもいいと思います。
お子さんに自分のカバンを引きずらないで、と言うなら下記のように言えます。
Don't drag your bag! It will tear.
（バッグを引きずらないで！破けるよ。）

「そんな風に床の上で袋を引きずらないで！破れちゃうよ。」
pull the bag across the floor で「床の上で袋を引きずる」
rip で「引き裂く」
ーYou better lift the bag up off the floor! The bag might tear if you don't.
「床からカバンを持ち上げたほうがいいよ！カバンが破れちゃうかも。」
逆に lift the bag up off the floor「床からカバンを持ち上げる」のような言い方もできます。
tear で「裂ける・破れる」
