  • There's still some time, so please continue the class with other study materials.

「まだ時間があるので、別の教材を使って授業してください」はこのようになります: There's still some time, so please continue the class with other study materials. there's still (some) time = まだ時間がある other study materials = 別の教材 英文にplease continue the classを使いましたが、「授業を進めてください」という意味です。 詳しく案内する時に、このように言えます: How about Conversation Topic 232, Climate? (「雑談用のお題」のうちトピック232「気候」はどうですか?)

  • We still have some time left let's continue with another topic

  • As there is still time left let's use another study material

If you have not finished your lesson and there is still minutes left before it's due to end then you would day 'we still have some time left' or 'as there is still time left' to keep something going and not stop (the lesson) then you would use the word continue
レッスンが終わるまでにまだ何分間かあるなら、 'we still have some time left'(まだ少し時間がある) または、 'as there is still time left'(まだ時間があるので) と言えます。 やめずに「(レッスンを)続ける」ことは、'continue' といいます。

  • Can we continue the lesson with a new topic?

  • We still have time for another topic.subject, can we please (enter what you want to do)?

"Can we continue the lesson with a new topic?" Here you ask the teacher if it is okay to move onto something else as you still have time to do so. "We still have time for another topic.subject, can we please (enter what you want to do)?" Here you inform the teacher that there is still time to look at a new material, and then you continue to ask it you can look at something else.
"Can we continue the lesson with a new topic?"(レッスンを続けて新しいトピックに移ってもらえますか) - ここでは、時間があるので次に進んでもらえますかとお願いしています。 "We still have time for another topic/subject, can we please (自分のしたいことを入れる)?"(まだ時間があるので、~してもらえますか) - ここではまず、まだレッスンの時間が残っていると伝えて、それから別の教材ができるか確認しています。

  • Would it be OK to start some new material?

  • Could we plunge into some new material now as we have time?

Yes, to use the time efficiently, it may well be appropriate to go onto some new material, which may be continued in a later or subsequent lesson. "Would it be OK to start some new material?" "Yes certainly! What would you like to do?" To plunge into something = to suddenly start doing something with energy and enthusiasm, but sometimes without thinking about it first: "This was not the time to be plunging into some new business venture."
はい、時間は有効に使いましょう。 その他新しい教材を使ってみることは適切で、その後のレッスンで続きをやることもできると思います。 "Would it be OK to start some new material?" (新しい教材を使ってもいいですか?) "Yes certainly! What would you like to do?" (はい、もちろん。何をやりたいですか?) To plunge into something =急に喜んで何かをし始める事ですが、時々何も考えないで始めてしまう事も "This was not the time to be plunging into some new business venture." (新しい投機事業を始める時期ではなかった)

  • We've finished a bit early so lets try some other material

  • Now that we have finished this I'd like to have a go at a different material

We've finished a bit early so lets try some other material Now that we have finished this I'd like to have a go at a different material Try and have a go can be used in the same way. 'Have a go' is a very useful phrase to learn how to use as it is commonly used in every day conversations. It is used in 2 ways. In this sentence it means to try. "I'm going to have a go at cooking a Thai curry" Have a go also means to criticise or argue with someone so it is important to understand the two different ways the phrase is used. 'A bit' is used to express a short period of time. 'I will see you in a bit' = I will see you shortly.
We've finished a bit early so lets try some other material (今日は少し早く終わったので別の教材を使いましょう) Now that we have finished this I'd like to have a go at a different material (今終わったので、別の教材を使ってみたいです) "Try"と "have a go"は同じように使うことが出来ます。 'Have a go'とは、やってみるという意味で日常的によく使われるとても便利なフレーズです。 使い方が二通りあり、ここでは試してみるという意味です。 "I'm going to have a go at cooking a Thai curry" (タイカレーの作り方を試してみるつもりです) "Have a go"のもう一つの意味は批判する又は反論するという意味になるので、この二通りの使い方の違いを理解しておくことはとても大切です。 'A bit'とは、短い時間を表す言い方です。 'I will see you in a bit' (すぐ後で会いましょう)

  • Since we have a few minutes left, can we do another lesson material.

  • I would like us to do Discussion Materials in the few minutes left.

*Since we have a few minutes left, can we do another lesson material?- This is a question to mean that you would like to ask the teacher if that will be fine. You:Since we have a few minutes left, can we do another lesson material? Teacher: Of course. What would you like us to do? You:Discussion Materials is fine. We can do lesson 20 *I would like us to do Discussion Materials in the few minutes left.- This is a direct request. You know which lesson materials you would like to do.
*Since we have a few minutes left, can we do another lesson material? (もう少し時間があるので、他の教材を使ってくれますか?) この質問は、先生に他の教材もつかってほしいと聞いています。 You:Since we have a few minutes left, can we do another lesson material? あなた:もう少し時間が残っているので、他の教材を使っても構わないですか? Teacher: Of course. What would you like us to do? 先生:もちろん。何をしたいですか? You:Discussion Materials is fine. We can do lesson 20 あなた:ディスカッションの教材がいいです。レッスン20でお願いします *I would like us to do Discussion Materials in the few minutes left. (残りの数分間、ディスカッションの教材を使用したいです) これは依頼になります。どの教材を使いたいかはっきりしています

  • Can we continue to a different lesson material with the left over time?

  • We finished this material early so I would like to continue with another material.

▪Can we continue to a different lesson material with the left over time? different= something else leftover= the time left before the lesson ends This sentence is asking if you can move on to a other lesson material because you finished the one material and there is still time left. ▪We finished this material early so I would like to continue with another material. This is saying that the material was finished before the lesson ended so you want to do a different material while there is still time left. Example 1 Teacher: We finished the material so quick, would you like to have free conversation with the left over time? You: Can we continue to a different lesson material with the left over time? Example 2 Teacher: This was a short lesson material. What would you like to talk about next? You:We finished this material early so I would like to continue with another material.
▪Can we continue to a different lesson material with the left over time? (残り時間を使って他のレッスン教材に移ってレッスンを続けても良いでしょうか) different = 他のもの leftover = レッスン終了までの残り時間 この文は1つの教材が完了しまだ時間があるためもう1つのレッスン教材に移っても良いかを尋ねています。 ▪We finished this material early so I would like to continue with another material. (私たちはこの教材を早く終えたので他の教材に移行して継続したいです) これはレッスン終了時間前に教材を完了したため残り時間を使って他の教材を使用したいと言っています。 例1 先生: We finished the material so quick, would you like to have free conversation with the left over time? (教材をとても速く終えてしまいました。残り時間でフリートークをしたいですか?) あなた: Can we continue to a different lesson material with the left over time? (残り時間を使って他のレッスン教材に移ってレッスンを続けても良いでしょうか) 例2 先生: This was a short lesson material. What would you like to talk about next? (これは短いレッスン教材でした。次は何について話したいですか) あなた:We finished this material early so I would like to continue with another material. (私たちはこの教材を早く終えたので他の教材に移行して継続したいです)
