現在完了形を使ってみました。
そのまま素直に表現しています。
副詞　already すでに
Have I already read this book?　私、この本もう読んだ？
付加疑問文で
I have already read this book, haven't I?　私この本もう読んだよ、ね？
I wonder ～かなあ？
I wonder if I have already read this book.
私この本もう読んだかしら？

現在（子供にこの本を読んだか聞いた時点）までに、その本を読んだかを聞いているので、現在完了形を使います。

ーHave we read this book before?
「この本、前に読んだっけ？」

ーDo you remember if we have read this book already?
「この本もう読んだか覚えてる？」
