〇〇を頼みたくて電話しました（してます）って英語でなんて言うの？

書類を作り直してもらいたくて電話したいのですが、何と言って話し出したらいいかわかりません。

書類を作る直しという頼みの場合、「I wanted to ask for the documents to be done over again so I called by phone」になります。

少し変わりますが「電話したい」の場合、
「I want to ask for the documents to be done over again so I would like to call by phone」になります。
