THe most common word used in the States for high-heeled shoes would be stilettos. Stilettos are shoes with heels that are above 3 inches. We would normally wear these to parties, clubs and formal events. They are often worn for professional purposes. Pumps are high-heeled shoes that are 3 inches and below. 1 inch high heels are called "kitten heels".
To describe/say shoes with heels you would simply say 'high heels' so you could say
'I'm going out tonight and will be wearing my high heels'
You can also call them 'high heeled shoes' so for example 'I'm going to buy a pair of red high heeled shoes'
