Drizzle/ light rain means that it is only raining a little bit, or sprinkling. You can say something, "It is drizzling out", "There is a light rain", or "It is raining a little” to say there isn't a lot of rain, only a little.

Drizzle' has the meaning of light but persistent rain and this word would not be used if the rain is very light, for example, when there are just a few specks of rain appearing on your windscreen as you are driving.
