I signed up for DMM eikaiwa. sign up for 以外に、register for も登録するという意味になります。

“I started” means that you are actively taking classes with DMM Eikaiwa. If you say, “ I signed up” that means you registered but you haven’t started classes yet. For example, maybe you went online and put in your information and picked the teacher you wanted but you haven’t had a class yet. Once that class starts then you can say, “ I started lessons with DMM Eikaiwa.”

"I started studying English on DMM Eikaiwa" "I signed up for online English tutoring on DMM Eikaiwa" Both of these expressions are proper to use when wanting to say that you have started studying on DMM Eikaiwa. Both of the expressions let people know what DMM is, an online English tutoring service. When deciding which expression to use its a matter of preference.
"I started studying English on DMM Eikaiwa"(DMM英会話を始めました) "I signed up for online English tutoring on DMM Eikaiwa"(DMM英会話のオンライン英会話サービスに申し込みました) どちらも、DMM英会話を始めたことを説明したいときに使うことができます。

"I signed up for DMM Eikaiwa and started learning through the platform." To join something for the first time is when we sign up for the occasion. Sign up could be free or it could incur costs. Started would then mean classes have begun, you have already participated.
"I signed up for DMM Eikaiwa and started learning through the platform."(DMM英会話に登録して、そこで勉強を始めました) "To sign up"(登録する)は、初めて何かに参加するときに行います。

You can either state that you have 'started' which means you have already began the classes or else you can use 'signed up' to describe that you have registered to start classes in the future. -I started classes with DMM Eikaiwa. -I signed up for classes with DMM Eikaiwa.
-I started classes with DMM Eikaiwa.(DMM英会話でレッスンを始めました) -I signed up for classes with DMM Eikaiwa.(DMM英会話に入会しました)

"I started taking lessons on DMM Eikaiwa" A great sentence to use in order to explain to someone, that you have begun your journey of DMM Eikaiwa in order to learn a new skill. "I signed up for DMM Eikaiwa" This would be used more for explaining the fact, that you have joined the platform. But doesn't really explain what you have joined the site.
"I signed up for DMM Eikaiwa"(DMM英会話に入会しました) これは、DMM英会話に入会したという事実を伝えます。

  • I just started with DMM Eikawa

If you wish to state that you signed up for/started with DMM Eikawa, then the above example statement foots the bill! Of course signing up for something and starting something are not always the same thing. There may be a delay before starting after you enrol.

"I have recently signed up for DMM Eikaiwa" 'Recently' is used when referencing something that had just happened, ex."I have recently turned 21 years old" "I have joined" To join is to start to be a part of a community.
"I have recently signed up for DMM Eikaiwa"(最近DMM英会話に入会しました) = 'Recently' は起きて間もない出来事について使われます。 例: "I have recently turned 21 years old" (先日21歳になりました) "I have joined"(~に加入した) = "To join" はグループの一員になることをいいます。
