「オービー」(OB) というのは,「Old Boys」の略ですので、外来語のように見えますが、実は和製英語なので、英語圏で「Old Boys」と言ったら、意味は全然伝われません。
正しい英語では、[オービー」というには、男性なら「an alumnus」(複数形alumni),女性なら「an alumna」(複数形alumnae)と言います。
あるいは、「a graduate」も言います。「A graduate」というのは「出身者」か「卒業生」にも相当します。
