英語で回の表・ウラは「the top of the inning/the bottom of the inning」と言います。
「ツーアウト2塁」の英訳は二つあります。
two out = two players are out
でも選手がアウトになったら、英語でそれは「an out」という名詞になるので、「two outs」でも言えます。
「man on second (base)」- 普通は「base」を抜きます。
「バッター3番」は「the third batter」ですが、英語ではこんな状態でそういうのは聞いた事ないです。でも、ランナー2塁でツーアウトだったら、バッター４番ではないですか？
「the plate」=「ホームベース」のことです。普通は英語では「home base」より「home plate」と言います。どうしてかというと、１９世紀でホームベースは鋳鉄製プレートで出来ていました。
