「手作り」は、
"homemade"
"made at home"
「既製品」は、
"ready-made”でもいいですが、
アメリカでは"store-bought"の方が一般的でした。

むしろ、off-the-shelfのほうがready-madeよりも汎用性が高いのではないでしょうか？
