黒字は「In the black」になります。
昔、[会計士](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/34291/)が決算表を作成していた時、利益が出たならば黒ペンで数字を書き、ロスだったら赤いペンで書き込んでいたため、赤字・黒字と呼びます。
また、「Net positive」とも言えます。ネットは「純」と言う意味です。[純利益](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/87531/)は net profit と言う。
例文：
- We were in the red until 2017, but then things turned around and we managed to get into the black the following year
- I've been cash net positive for the last 10 years
